Paul T. Barham is a seasoned software engineering leader with a distinguished career spanning over two decades at top-tier technology companies including Amazon, AWS, Microsoft, and Evernote. He currently serves as the Director of Software Engineering at Dakota Software Corp., where he spearheaded the launch of a new SaaS platform and assumed product leadership responsibilities. With deep expertise in building and scaling high-performing software teams, Paul excels in leading organizational transformation, mentoring engineering leaders, and driving cross-functional collaboration.

At Evernote, he revitalized engineering teams across Growth, Commerce, and Data, implementing modern CI/CD pipelines and significantly enhancing operational efficiency. During his tenure at Metabolon, Paul built new software and product teams, pioneering automated deployment pipelines and modernizing legacy infrastructure.

Previously at Microsoft, he led Azure DevOps integrations with open-source platforms, earning direct recognition from CEO Satya Nadella. At Amazon and AWS, he architected and launched mission-critical systems for global payments and commerce, expanding teams and managing multimillion-dollar cost centers while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
